The chicken fried steak is one of the best I have ever had and the squash casserole was amazing, service was great our waitress was friendly and helpful checking on us multiple times. This is a must stop if you are traveling route 66

Our waitress was nice and very thoughtful. Knowing we were traveling, offered to fix our drinks to go! Food was excellent. Best chicken fried steak ever! Homemade mashed potatoes were delicious. My wife had the Rueben sandwich. So good! So big of a portion had to take remainder home. Great atmosphere of Rt 66 and surrounding areas.

I went in and sat down and for 15 minutes, I was invisible. Completely. There were 5 or 6 waitresses working (more than enough) and they never even acknowledged me. People came in after me and they already had their salads. Finally, I asked a waitress if she knew who my waitress was and she said, I am. Then, a different girl came and took my order. The food was decent but the customer service, in my opinion, was lacking. Everyone else seemed to be pleased. 🤦🤷

Oh my goodness how have I never been here before!? I’ve spent most of my life in NE Oklahoma and just made it to Clantons. The Chicken Fried Steak was AMAZING! The service was AMAZING! I love it here! I’ll definitely be back.

We were looking for a place to eat a home cooked meal and we found it at Clinton's Cafe. Our wait was not long even with COVID precautions in place. Our drink order was brought out quickly. Our waitress was nice and friendly. My husband and I had the chicken fried chicken with rolls mashed potatoes and white gravy. It took very little time to get our food. As my mom worked in a resturants. I knew good from bad as she worked several. From the speed in which we were served from drink to food was perfect. The chicken fried chicken was tender . Everyone was hopping in there too to take care of customers. They were polite and efficient which is sadly lacking in a lot of restaurant . I would definitely go back. If u are ever that way, try it!!

Finally stopped in to try after reading some reviews. This was by far the best chicken fried steak I've had in a restuarant. My husband, who is a cheeseburger fanatic said his burger was hands down one of the best he's had. The staff was friendly and and provided a safe and enjoyable environment. We will definitely be back again and again, as we want to try everything on their menu.

We had such a great experience here. We drove from Grove and saw this restaurant as one of the hole in the wall Gems of Oklahoma. We were so Pleased. Excellent service and great food. We ate way too much. Started with Calf fries dipping sauce was awesome. Mixture of bluecheese and buffalo sauce. I had CFS, MP and greenbeans. My wife had Chicken Strips i think was the name, with fries and Corn. Daughter had Corndog and tots. We all ordered desserts. We will go back.

Great food--cooked to perfection! Fast, friendly attentive service. My husband is disabled and had recently had surgery and the waitress made accommodations for him without being asked or making him feel like he was a bother. We loved it and will be back!

Taken from a former local, this place is simply among the best. This is by far the best restaurant in the region, and the only one I go to when I visit. The chicken fried steak is wonderful, and the place is a great display of what a small town Oklahoma diner should be.

Very good atmosphere for family and work mates. Has a lot of history. Service was polite and food was tasty. Would recommend for trying something new or starting a new habit for food.

Clanton’s Cafe is such a wonderful place to eat! From start to finish it’s a 5 star experience. There’s a reason they’re parking lot is always full!

Stopped on the way through to Illinois. I can honestly say it was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had! Had a really nice conversation with our server as well and took to go cups of delicious tea. Highly recommended stop along Route 66.

Nothing short of Amazing! Great service, wonderful people, outstanding food and easy on the pocketbook! This was my first trip but definitely won't be my last. 5 stars without a doubt!

This place is by far the best restaurant in Vinita! My family and I have been going here for years and are never disappointed. Chicken and dressing is amazing. You can’t leave here without ordering a slice of coconut cream pie or warm peach cobbler.

First time there and will stop again. Just a basic midwestern cafe with great food. I'll review the rating I gave them after I eat the takeout piece of pie...

Pauletta is an amazing waitress!! Make sure you ask for her. Food is always amazing you can close your eyes point at menu and not go wrong..

Always delicious, the cheeseburger was large enough to bring home half for my husband. Also, very good homemade French fries. Service is great and our small group can gather for our meeting. And of course you frequently see acquaintances coming or going.

Always a great meal when coming here. My boys ate the cow fries and I think my five year old enjoyed that the most!Seat yourself diner. Kitschy deco. Delicious food. Cannot ask for anything more. I had the chicken fried steak. I had no leftovers because it was damn good. Green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy were also amazing.

This place was very good I had the chicken fried steak which is their most popular dish. It was very good. The decor of the place is relaxing and is a cafe feel.

We've been coming here for years and have always had great food and great service. The calf fries and the chicken fried steak are amazing. If your in the area this well worth the stop to have awesome home cooked food.

Great place, great atmosphere and great food

Celebrated my 63rd Birthday here and the food was fantastic. I had Roast Beef, homemade mashed potatoes, green beans with broccoli and cheese soup. My roast melted in my mouth. Hubby had Chicken fried steak and daughter had grilled ham and cheese with Tator tots. They gave me hot apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Sherry had chocolate cream pie.The atmosphere and service was refreshingly delightful.Can't wait to go again.

Awesome old style family diner type foods. Anything you eat is great and the prices are great for the quality. Didn’t try the calf fries, not my thing, but everyone else said they were good. Staff were awesome and kitchen was quick despite being extremely busy. All around good experience.

We enjoyed the Route 66 experience. The food was good but we enjoyed the ambiance more. The place has a nice home town feeling.

I followed the recommendation and got the chicken fried steak with brown gravy. The chicken fried steak was a step above and noticeably more tender than any I'd had before. The staff was friendly. Service was superior. Recommend.

Plane and simple just good home cooked meals. Always stop when passing thru.

The food was home cooked and delicious. So many choices and even more flavor! I was torn between the Chicken Salad on a croissant and Chicken and Dressing. I ended up getting the Chicken and Dressing with mashed potatoes cottage cheese a salad( you get 3 sides with most meals) and a roll and was not in any way disappointed!!!! It was so filling that I didn't have room for dessert and that never happens. But the selection of desserts were Pie or Cobbler. I can't wait to go back and try something new!

Got the famous Chicken fried steak with white gravy corn mashed potatoes and homemade dinner rolls and had to try their onion rings because they looked so good in the pictures and let me tell you they're Amazing top five best onion rings ever!!
